Flexible Learning Spaces in a 1-1 Learning Environment

Rimu Class are a group of Year 6, 7 and 8 students at Yaldhurst Model School, part of the Hornby cluster, in Christchurch.  Their learning space is in what was previously the school library.  As you will read in the image below, they have been re-defining and re-designing their learning space to best
fit their needs.  You will see that they have thought about how and where they learn best and created a
range of spaces.  In the presentation they have created and shared on their class blog you can read about each space as well as scan the QR code to watch a video explaining the space.  This presentation not only shows the creative personalities of Rimu class learners but also the multi-modal ways of expressing and sharing learning.  This would also be a great resource for whānau to understand the nature of the learning environment.
