During 2015 the students at Kawakawa Primary School were sharing 30 school owned chromebooks between 6 classrooms. This was a 'gearing up' year as they prepared for the 1-1 chromebook roll out across Years 4 - 8 at the beginning of 2016. In preparation for a whānau evening, a small group of students created this video clip to share with their whānau the value of learning with a chromebook. Value was placed on the importance of whānau understanding of the 'why' chromebooks were an integral part of the learners education. Value was also placed on student voice and gaining their feedback on how they felt chromebooks would benefit their learning.
